Due to short runs and using supermarket diesel in my VW Passat the EGR alarm was coming up and staying on.
Added a bottle of Diesel Clean 3 to half a tank of fuel and gave the car a good run for half an hour continuously

Garage diagnostics said EGR needed cleaning priced at 7hrs labour, saw this product on ebay so took a chance for the price. Added to 20L of fuel as directed, removed the EGR a week later to clean, there were no solid deposits and cleaned up easy with a small wire brush, less than 2hrs work.Read full review
