CM11A
X10 technology may be obsolete, but I've been successful with it for ~ 30 years - TRUTH !
The CM11A controller will operate fine for one - two years then it's timing function goes wacko. Communication remains good, addressing individual units is fine. I can address units, turn - on/off / dim all units - NO problem. Just the clock / timer goes wacko ---
Buy a new CM11A, and I'm good for another two years. ..... Any comments - PLEASE.........Read full review

Control X-10 lights from Linux system
I was looking for an X-10 controller that I could run from my Ubuntu Linux system. This X10 interface works great. I connected the interface to my Ubuntu system with a USB to Serial RS232 adapter (FTDI chip), and then used "heyu" software to operate the unit. All working great. This adapter was also very inexpensive in comparison to some other controllers you can purchase.Read full review

X-10 RULES!
I've been using one of these for years! It works very well and is easy to setup and program. I bought a second one for use in a vacation home. I can program it from my laptop and then leave it there while I'm away to give the place a "lived-in" appearance. Read full review

Glad these are still available . . .
I've had X10 since the mid-80's and have way too much of it to have to make a big change in a controller that I have been using for a long time. It was nice to be able to find my third one. They only last so long. I know I will need more in the future and I hope they still have them here. Thanks!Read full review

don't last forever
My experience with X-10 controllers is that they last approx. 2 - 1/2 years. Then the timer looses time. I've used X-10 1987. one controller only, then realized how handy these thing good be. Too bad they only last 2 - 1/2 years ---------- :-(

Old reliable…
These are one of the few X-10 interfaces that still work well with HomeSeer. Happy to find one in good condition, as a spare, just in case my current one goes belly up!

I have used X10 for 43 years
I used it to replace on old one - it was 31 years old. I would say that is a good product.

X10 Computer Interface
Purchased this device as a backup to the current unit I use for my X10 home automation system, this is an obsolete product as a result they are difficult to replace, the good news is that there is a third party software package Active Home Vista that works with this unit and is supported hence the reason I am keeping my X10 installation in serviceRead full review
