Good X-men game for the genesis, but you need a working reset button to complete the game. I do prefer either X-men 2 Clone Wars or the X-men arcade game.

Fun, a definite challenge

This game is really fun. A great game for any true X-Men or Marvel fan. The one-player mode is the best mode to play in. In two-player mode you have to keep up with one another, as in one player can not advance the screen farther if the other player is behind. The game is also REALLY challenging. I'm still trying to beat the first level. Any avid video game player would probably be able to master the game quickly but the casual player (like me) will find this game extremely challenging and often times frustrating (but it a good way!). I recommend this game for any fan of the 90's X-Men cartoon show and anyone looking for a game that offers a real challenge.Read full review...

Possibly the best X-men game

Yes it’s hard, sometimes unfair! This game ranks up there with the X-Men Arcade, Children of the Atom, X-Men vs Street Fighter, SNES Apocalypse and it’s sequel is just as good- Sega X-Men Clone Wars. X-Men Sega Genesis game

Classic game, great classic graphics for its age, and lots of action. I would recommend this game for all Marvel fans and classic gamers. Also, X-Men 2 is a must buy if you like this one.
