It seems to do the job well and the 'settlled' temperature time is okay. Mine didn't have a backlight on it however so not sure if it was supposed to or not but there was one in the picture. It's accurate - I've calibrated it at -16, 0, +5, +20, +100 Celsius.

Response time is OK - about 30 s.

You need to immerse about 3 cm of the probe in liquids to get an accurate reading.<br>
