Well thought off repair kit.
It’s a well thought off repair kit. Please watch the installation video a couple of times and prepare the areas to be fused together appropriately (cleaning, degreasing, and sanding). Make sure you have appropriate clamps before you apply acetone. Try clamping the item dry first to see if your clamp is good enough( good reach and grip strength). I’m well happy with mine. Saves a fortune taking it to nissan or buying an unpainted spare part.

It arrived the next day and i followed the Video as for some reason couldn't download the Pdf intsuctions.
The only bit i struggled with was removing the plastic grommet which i didn't bother putting back as i replaced it with one of the bolts as clips had broken from the middle section too.
Using the Dremel i was able to ground down the old plastic clips in minutes and applied the new clips using the acetone and brush. After clamping and waiting an hour i got it back together with no problems.
Only the five bolts holding it but seems stronger than new.
Tip: Remove rear interior light so not to drain the battery and put acetone in glass jar.Read full review...

A sturdy fix to save a few quid
Finally used this to repair the damaged boot handle. Attempted to join the first one, even left overnight, however it came off as soon as I released the clamps. My next attempt was successful which leads me to this important tip not covered in the manual; make sure you thoroughly prepare the surface beforehand. In this case, and likely yours, it will not fuse through the paintwork which my handle was covered in in it's entirety, and did not damage it as warned. I used a fine grade sandpaper to take off the paint and smooth the broken plastic edges left after the original break. Both then fused perfectly and felt solid. Re-installed and it feels sturdy so happy with the end result for the price. Some of the moulded plastic was rough which made it difficult to slide the fixing hex screws in but all in all a good product.Read full review...

After look at great lengths at all the alternatives, the clips from X8R seemed the best option, if I had bought a new handle it would have to be resprayed and still have flimsy clips. A brand new Nissan part would be expensive and still have flimsy clips. I would recommend watching there video and maybe have a look at YouTube. Great bit of kit
The guys who designed this clearly understood the problem and made a great fix for it.
I'd seen other home repair videos for this problem before but none seemed to give a decent amount of surface contact and left me worried about how long it would last.
I was actually going to do one of those fixes I'd seen before and went to you tube to find the video and came across this great product that seemed to deal with the contact area issue.
The bits were as easy to fit as the video showed, I don't have any clamps that small so improvised with a few clothes pegs and job done.
