Probably the best recording and playback possible for this soundtrack (look for the Sony Music Entertainment UK cd - 1998); the sound is clear (bass and treble are not mixed up, although ELO's songs recordings are obviously different than those from ONJ) considering the period during which the movie was made. Although not a hit film the music from Xanadu was extremely popular due to the exceptional talented musicians and well written songs. Easy listening and foot tapping. Well worth the price
