Excellent LED units rather than a bulb in holder
Removed my old 5W 501 bulbs from inside their recessed number plate holders and instead of replacing with single 501 LED bulbs I replaced the entire holders with these fully sealed 12 LED units.
Fitting was straightforward if a bit fiddly removing the torx screw Volvo fits and the new units come with an extra seal to further protect from moisture.
No bulb error message. No flickering. Looks standard just brighter. Exactly what I set out to achieve. Made in China, well packaged and looks so much better than stock 501 bulbs.

Just the Job
Fitted with no problems - easy job. On my 2005 Volvo S60 I tried them without the ballast units and no canbus error showed so that's an even bigger energy saving. Also I wrapped the connectors with self amalgamating tape for moisture protection. Bright light output. Recommended.Read full review...
