This is all they say it is. It works better than my original remote, BUT what they don't clearly and quickly explain is that it will only work - voice response wise - with the DVR box. This remote will work with other boxes for normal usual functions but no voice. Wish I knew that before I bought two more. The backlit function is very nice though.
