Great Fitness Tracker better and much than Fitbit
A great tracker better than the Fitbit Charge series. Distance measurements more accurate. Screen clearer and easier to view. In bright sunlight it is impossible to read a Fitbit Charge. The Mi Band 5 suffers this but with shielding it can be read. Still working as new. I changed the strap. out to a mor conventional brittle style strap for better security. Good band with Problems
Bought the band to go with my Xiaomi 10T Lite and I am experiencing a few different problems, so not sure wheather its the new band or new phone that is the problem.
The phone links to the band no problem and when you press find band via the app on your phone, all works well, stress and heart beat, sleep all ok. All programs seem to work fine its just the notification from sms ect that i am having trouble with. Some time it works and notifications come through, then maybe half an hour later they dont.
As i say not sure wheather its the band or the phone, both are onle 1 week old and purchased from MI.

Perfect for the price
The Mi Band 5 comes with an amazing set of features for the price point, and available for only a few pounds more than cheap generic equivalents from China, it is vastly superior in quality. The Mi Fit app is excellent for a free app, and when used in conjunction with Xiaomi's body composition scales, the feedback offered is excellent and quite comprehensive. It lacks blood oxidation and blood pressure measures, but at this price that is not at all unreasonable. Much better is that the measurements it does take are pretty accurate. Sleep monitoring is vastly assisted by enabling the extra sleep monitoring setting on the band. The band is very light, almost un-noticeable. Wearing it in the shower has caused no problems. Since I use extra settings I find it lasts a bit over a week with one charge, and the charging is easy and quick. For under £30, it does more than I would expect of it, and does it well.Read full review...

Great updated Xiaomi Watch - they call a 'band'
I have used Xiaomi watch bands for years - upgrading from S1 to S2 to S3 then S4 and now the S5.
The best feature that I like about all of them is the battery only needs to be recharged about once a month.
Earlier version displays were quite dim. The S5 is much better - that's one of the main reasons I upgraded.
Apart from telling the time, the watches are waterproof, monitor light + deep sleep, record daily steps and can measure your pulse rate. This model also measures stress levels and REM sleep.
I also much prefer this compact watch that is smaller than competitive models - that also need to be recharged daily or every few days.Read full review...

Nice Upgrade.
I have had the Mi Band 3 for several years and its never let me down but the display was small and not that easy to see. The new Mi Band 5 however takes it to a new level, not only does it have a larger colour screen, it also has loads of new features. Very happy with the upgraded version and if it last as long as my original I will be very happy. The Mi app for Android also makes the Mi Band 5 very easy to keep track of daily and weekly calories burned and appears to reasonably accurate in the steps counted. Do not be taken in by more expensive fitbands that batteries run out in 3 days. I am absolutely thrilled with this the battery lasts for about 2 weeks (i am on minimal settings) It has a clear and concise display and is very accurate . Its so light i forget im wearing it. It alerts me to calls and messages, after having a more expensive watch that promised this feature and didn't i'm very pleased with this one. Good little tracker
I had a mifit 2 that after 3 years stopped working properly. Mifit 4 definitely an upgrade. Holds charge brilliantly. I like that slimmer than some on market but still has most of the same functions App is easy to use. As a good value exercise tracker I highly recommend. Extra straps to mix up colour are cheap. Great product for the price
I was surprised how many things within my life where Mi 5 Band would be able to track and was pleasantly pleased emailing my daughter after every new thing I found where it would track. Only a bit peeved that the cycle ride I made didn't track anything as I suppose you have to 'keep constantly on the move' so can't stop at lights or anything like that which is a bit silly and rather annoying as one of my reasons for buying was because it had cycle tracking on there I am still very pleased with the tracker though.Read full review...
