Best in its class
When buying an extractor fan; you can get many other offers which seem good but do not cut the grease. The main thing with this fan is how many cubic metres per hour it can extract. This out performs anything in its class.
The product is solid, well engineered to do the job, with a brilliant motor and more importantly doesn't sound like a 'Jet Engine'.
As for ducting on the rear, you should buy 150mm width. The circumference on the rear is 148mm so it is going to be a tight fit putting on 150mm, It might test your patience, but for those people who know how to fit a bicycle tyre around a rim being tight will have not problem!Read full review

Great for the price
Great for the price.
Many fans come in smaller dimensions.
Handy larger dimensions if you have a larger outlet ceiling/wall than standard.
Not the quietest perhaps and not the most streamlined - but still does a great job.
Works a treat and easy to installRead full review

My fan
This is an excellent product but l gave it 4stars and not 5, because when you fit it to a ceiling it only has 2 fixing screws so it gaps which doesn’t look right.

Easy to fit and good value.
It was cheap, it was very easy to install and it has proved to be invaluable in preventing condensation build-up in our kitchen. With all this in mind I would not hesitate to recommend one to anybody. Read full review

Good Value Reasonably Quiet
Good simple extractor fan. Shifts about 222 cubic metres per hour which is about 3 times the volume of my lean-to conservatory which I am trying to keep cool in the summer and which also doubles as a drying room. The fan does its job well and is reasonably quiet - better than the last one which burned out! Easy enough to wire in and only two screws to fix it to the wall.I am aware the instructions say it should not be in an environment where the temperature exceeds 30C. I must admit that I am relying on the name Xpelair as an assurance that I have bought quality but in these days of mass imports from China?? Only time will tell though. If it lasts a year I will be happy.Read full review
