EXCELLENT SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT CUTTER FOR SOFT METALS

Excellent and very useful tool essential for model railway track laying because it is quick and easy to use, as well as being quite strong considering its small size for cutting soft metals, But do not try to use it to cut through strong thick steel because it is not meant for heavy duty metals. Indispensable tool for tracklaying.

Used it for cutting N gauge track and it does exactly what it says on the tin. The cutting blades are at an angle to the handles so you need to watch the angle at which you cut, but once you've practised a couple of times it's fine. Xuron Cutter - wish I had bought one years ago

I bought this for the (fairly infrequent) task of cutting model railway tracks , because it calls itself a "track cutter". However, since it arrived it has been a go-to tool for cutting most metal and plastic strips/ wires. It s sufficiently small at the head to reach into some confined areas.
