THOROUGHLY USEFUL & AN INTERESTING BOOK

In colour and with useful maps and photographs, the book provides good descriptions of history & geography of the Wolds Way, also of local events and attractions.
Its main purpose is to divide the 79 mile Trail into daily chunks that average around 14 miles per section, giving a description of the countryside, the directions and points of interest en route. It also gives an informative précis of the walk with eateries, pubs, accommodation etc at the end of each section.
Easy reading, interesting and potentially vital information for anyone thinking of tackling this lovely part of Yorkshire.

An easy to follow guide to the YWW

I purchased this book for my upcoming (April 2019) walk along the Yorkshire Wolds Way. I have read through the first few chapters covering the history and nature of the area and found that really interesting and also the first sections of the walking guide. The guide looks to be comprehensive and easy to follow but the proof will be shown once we get underway.Read full review...
