Brilliant and very entertaining...

Another of my favourites in the bond series sees SPECTRE surface again and this time you finally get to meet Blofeld played wonderfully by the late great(Donald Pleasence). This is a wonderful addition and the battle scenes with the Ninja's is Fantastic...

Timeless and spectacular Addition 10/10...

With the Soviet Union and the United States blaming each other for mysteriously missing space capsules, nuclear warfare between the two superpowers seems imminent. However, Her Majesty's Secret Service suspects the rockets are being held in the Sea of Japan and assigns James Bond (Sean Connery) to fake his death in order to go undercover. Believed to be dead by the public at large, Bond travels to Japan to track down the missing U.S. and Russian space capsules. Racing against the nuclear clock, 007 discovers that the maniacal Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Donald Pleasence), the luscious Helga Brandt (Karin Dor), and their terrorist organisation SPECTRE have planned to incite a full-scale global war. With the help of Japanese agents Aki (Akiko Wakabayashi), Kissy Suzuki (Mie Hama), Tiger Tanaka (Tetsuro Tamba), and a slew of ninjas, Bond must once again save the world from nuclear obliteration. For his first directorial take on a Bond movie, Lewis Gilbert draws on storytelling techniques from his previous films ALFIE and THE 7TH DAWN (quick cuts, long aerial pans), rendering Roald Dahl's clever script with a fluidity not seen in previous 007 films

bond movies are some of the best british movies ever this 1 has the super spy played by sean connery still considered the best bond ever although i think daniel craig is gonna give him a run for his money. this is a great story and cast and the action sequences r great one of the better bind movies. if i had to pick a fault i would say that some bond films look old some movies never age but these movies r still cool 2 me.Read full review...

You've gotta love it!

It's a fun romp through Japan during the 60's with Bond chasing after a certain spaceship capable of entrapping ships in orbit that U.S.A and U.S.S.R have launched.
It's special effects are laughable by todays standards but it is still a great film with some remarkable insights to the mind of the 60's modern man!
Of course, Bond gets the girls but it still is one of the most enjoyable Bond adventures.

USUAL AMUSING BOND

This was the usual amusing vintage James Bond, I would recommend this as an easy way to spend a couple of hours, in the evening, curled up with a gin and tonic and a packet of crips!
