Tastes awful.
This is the second time I have tried this brand.
The first time it tasted like a well known cough medicine. I put this down to my inexperience with homebrewing. The second batch even after extra time fermenting still tastes awful.

I used to make wine years ago and it was hit and miss, winebuddy kits have changed that, I have made lots and never had a problem, and always had good drinkable wine. The wine snobs will say its crap,but reality is, it's tasty,reasonable 10-11% wine. I have never had a hangover and would never drink anything but these winebuddy wines now. Like the taste of this (merlot) kit , have been brewing for about 3 years now on a too regular basis.

Watch your bubbler shake
I am on to my 4th kit now .
I have been making wines off and on over ten years from raw ingredients and the odd kit with varying degrees of success.
These kits are simple to use and yes the fermentation is strong so your bubbler will shake as the air is pushed through but would say that these are guaranteed success and the wine tasting good not like home brew.
