Does a great job, I brought a second

You can never keep 100% of mud from being kicked up and these mudguards come pretty close.
I fitted it to my rear wheel on my hardtail and I was that pleased with the results i got a second mudguard for the front wheel and now I can ride through puddles and mud without anticipating getting muck in my eyes.

I mainly ride along my local muddy paths, bridal ways and farmers tracks so coming home caked in mud isn't great for my garage floor, kit and washing machine.

Once your all set up the guards can be removed with 1 allen key which is great for taking the bike trail riding in the summer.

Great product!!

It's okay but a bit small

It's well made and well designed from the view of fitting it to the bike. However getting the straps that secure it as a rear mudguard to seat stays of the bicycle frame can be rather fiddly. It's a universal one size fits all and I think is a bit small in the length for a 27.5" wheel size and a little narrow for typical mountain bike tyres.Read full review

Awkward and hard to put on but functional.

The clamping mechanisms requier some fiddling to get right. It is a bit difficult to put the nut into the groove and than attach the arm of the fender onto the chainstay. The straps are too short for a fork, even the longest ones barely fit. On the rear it's ok. The coverage is pretty good for a 26". I'm running it on a 29 full suspension haibike sleek SL. I've extended it with an 1 $ ass saver as a mudflap. Just drilled 2 holes in the tail section and riveted it on. It would be better if it was an inch wider. And if the tilting mechanism was toothless to allow for a more precise adjustment.Read full review

If all else fails these will work!!

I have a Trek Y33 and wanted to fit mudguards for the wet weather. The only ones that will do the job are these, having tried all the others. They are well made, robust and with a small mod fit the rear swingarm perfectly. If I had disc brakes there may be other options but I wanted to keep the bike original so this was a great solution for front and rear. The only mod required was for the gear cable to run freely due to the fittings. The adjustment you can make allows a really neat fit so have bought another for the front wheel which has Rock Shox Air Black Box comp forks, and still with lever brakes. I tried it for the front fitting and it was great too but need to wait for this to arrive as I bought it once I knew it would work for both wheels.Read full review

Fantastic Mud Guard

This is a brilliant mud guard !

Fits the wheels nicely and keeps everything off you.

Only gripe is the fitting method is a bit difficult. also if you frame has not got standard cylinder tubes it proves a bit more difficult to attach. also brake cables etc will get in the way when fitting these but that's only minorRead full review

Solid mudguard

Once attached, and it is a little tricky to attach, this is a solid mudguard. It is adaptable, can be adjusted up and down to cover any tyre size in a way not all mudguards can.
I had a larger tyre size 2.40 on my Trek series 4 and had tried other mudguards attached to the wheel bridge, but could not get any to fit between the bridge and the tyre and this mudguard was perfect for this problem.Read full review

Flexible universal mudguard

This one mudguard can be front or back. A little tricky to first set up. But if you start with the rear option first you soon get the hang of it so the front fitment will be easier. Once in position just tighten up all the bolts with your hex key. I swooped the front to be over the front wheel instead of under the frame as pictured. Due to having a down frame front mudguard. Using the extended piece to go over the forks "U" connector. So both ends match. Almost like a small motorbike. Very happy with quality, look and service of the product. Would definitely recommend. Buyer was good too received said items within a week of ordering. I will be buying these again if I change my mountain bike. Read full review

The quality is excellent and the plastic is of a decent weight and strength. Works well on my MTB.

Good quality and works very well. The end can be positioned front or back depending on the coverage you want. I have an E mountain bike with full suspension and it was easy to get it so that it moved with the swing arm.
Fitting was a bit fiddly, Its a good system and 3 sizes of straps are provided which should fit most bike. A bolt is used to then tighten them, I switched these over so the bulk of it was sitting away from the wheel and protected by the frame.

Can't fit it.

I have spent over an hour trying to fit it to my son's bike and eventually gave up. Waste of time and money. The fitting mechanism (plastic bands and screw) seem impossible to adjust to the bike's fork - looks like a designer's flaw. Read some reviews e.g. Bike Radar, users' forums..., which I didn't prior to the purchase. Run away from it.Read full review
