My,,,,advice is to have it ready. The faster,,,you notice that you have be in contact,,,ZANFIL,,,,goes to remove the oil,,,that causes the reaction. My last contact,,,early spring ,,,was very severe,,,ZANFIL,,,cleared it up in two days. It burned me,,,as such,,,it looked like leather. It felt,,,deep under my skin.ZANFIL did wonders clearing it up. THIS STUFF is a must if you get poison ivy. Not as good as i thought

After seeing the ads for this product I thought it would have worked better than it did. It took multiple applications for this to take away the poison ivy itch. It seemed to spread before going away as well. Much cheaper to buy online then in the store though so that’s a positive. Read full review

Great Product for cleaning urushiol oil off your skin and drying out Poison Ivy rash!! Also helps relieve itch temporarily

I have purchased Zanfel before after having a severe outbreak of poison ivy. It helped stop the spread of the oils and got rid of the oozing. The itching came back after a couple of hours but it was definitely great to know the poison ivy was not spreading anymore and was drying up. This would be best to use as soon as you see an outbreak of poison ivy to clean off the oils from your skin. Really works !

I have used this product for years. Every early summer I have poison ivy attacks. Usually I can't figure out why. The severity has varied from annoying to terrifying. There are a lot of poison ivy "remedies" out there that I have tried, but this one really works. I bought 2 tubes just to be sure I would have a supply on hand when I need it. even though a tube usually gets me through 2 or 3 poison ivy attacks.

It has sound chemistry behind it. The surfactants (wetting agents) help the polyethylene scrubbing particles loosen the Urushiol oil and the EDTA complexes (binds) to it so it is removed when Zanfel is washed off. The complexing of the Urushiol oil is really important because unless the Urushiol oil is bound and washed off it still is more attracted to skin than to soapy water. Without the EDTA the oil can reattach to the skin elsewhere instead of being washed off.Read full review

Zanfel helped my Poison Ivy rash in 2 days

Zanfel Poison Ivy Relief worked for me. I have only used it once since I broke down and paid the $22 for 1 oz tube. I had a itchy red patch on my arm after gardening about 7" by 2". I've had enough poison ivy to be pretty sure I had been hit yet again. Followed the directions on the box, scrubbed the area well and got about 6 hours of relief. Repeated the application and followed up the next day 2 more times as needed. As needed means just when it started to itch again I applied Zanfel. I never broke out completely and it got so much better I went to cheaper Calaclear Lotion for the next 2 days. Seemed to do the trick. Never broke out. Use as directed. I tried to apply it to a wash cloth and rubbing it in once but it was not near as effective as using the hands. If you want to avoid the 2 to 3 weeks of poison ivy misery apply Zanfel early as often as needed. I'm a believer.Read full review

Review is pretty similar to everybody else is on here. I am somebody that gets poison oak very easily and very badly and have had little success with relief doing anything else other than just having to wait it out. Using this stuff not only very much relieved the symptoms but definitely shortened the healing time! The only thing I will say is that I definitely had to use often meeting probably every 2 to 4 hours depending on how bad you’ve got it. Obviously the cost is very high but as anybody who gets poison oak super bad knows you’d probably pay anything to have it be better so to me it is worth it. Plus buying it on here it is a reasonable cost compared to trying to buy it in the store which is ridiculous. Only thing I really wish is that it just came in a bigger tube!Read full review

Pricey But Certainly Works.

This product provided instant relief (as promised). However the price is ridiculously costly and the amount is ridiculously small. Especially if you have multiple breakout spots, you'll find that the amount in the tube will not last very long at all. I advise to be conservative when using. I learned add a bit of dish soap when using it. Yes dish soap, youtube Poison Ivy + dish soap. I use a 2:1 ration meaning that for every amount dab of Zanfel you use, add 1/2 a dab of some good dish soap. I used 7 Generation dish soap and this worked very well for me. This dish soap will not interfere with the active ingredients in Zanfel and will help you get more use out of the product.Read full review
