Zeiss produces extremely high quality optics and the Terra ED shows its linage. Crystal clear images and sturdy construction.
True there are cheaper binoculars in the pocket size category, but you get what you pay for. If you want the best Zeiss is it.
Only negative I can say is the case which is really only a cloth bag. To me binoculars of this quality should come with a quality case,

This Zeiss 8 x 25 binoculars is the perfect compromise between magnification, light weight, & low light clarity. Having an objective diameter of 25mm as opposed to 20mm makes it a much better binocular in low light & Having an 8 x power as opposed to a 10 x power gives it a 3.1 exit pupil which is better for low light conditions.Read full review
