Zgemma H.2s Dual Core Satellite Receiver Dvb-s2 Tuner to Air

Very Configurable

Bought to replace an older S2, which after some 18 months refuse to complete its booting process despite reflashing/re imaging with previously saved working images/backups.
Went with the newer H2S, and it is much quicker in use than the S2, a big plus. So far it is a good improvement over the S2, although there is one problem, selecting the info button for channel info repeatedly leads to a reboot.
They are very configurable which can be rather daunting, and there is not much documentation to cover all the options / settings, it does become a suck it and see diy experience, Mine is hooked up ta an external hard disk and to a NAS server for holding recordings/videos and works well with this. I would say it not a straightforward 'retail' item for the non technically inclined. If you want simple, and constrained, buy a Humax/Manhattan but if you want flexible and are prepared to do web searching and some experimentation get one!Read full review

I recently purchased a Zgemma s2s and decided to purchase an h2s to replace an Openbox unit.
These units are not plug and play as you need to download firmware from the internet into a flash drive to set them up. They come set for Astra 19, which doesn't cover the UK.
Once set up they prove to be a very good STB.
Don't order one unless you know what you see doing. That said, the there are some good tutorial videos on YouTube for you to follow, so unless you are a complete technophobe you should be able to purchase one of these STB's and set one up.Read full review
