Once you've read the directions, this little thing makes the perfect rice. Before I bought it, I searched everywhere to find the rice cooker for my needs. I eat a lot of rice and I don't like reheating rice. I wanted to make small batches of rice throughout the day: a cup here, two cups there, brown rice then sushi rice. This does it all. Overly complecated.
If all you're going to do is cook white rice it's fine and does a good job. However, cooking other types of rice and especially mixed types (Black, Red, Wild, Long grain Brown) is not so easy. it's necessary to put more water than normal and that can cause the rice to overcook and become mushy.Read full review

This is a great product and definitely worth the money spent. I have always made messes with previous cheap Aroma rice cookers due to water spitting out the top. It was so easy add 2 cups of good, quality rice, fill to level on cooking bowl, press cook and walk away. I wasn't in house when rice finished cooking but it automatically went to warm mode.
