To be honest,
I was not specking much..just because of the price. I had a super light portable tripod by a well known and respected manufacture.
I bought this because of the price and when it arrived...I was flabbergasted. This tripod is built solid. The hardware to adjust vertically and, well, all the ways you can set your camera are so smoooth. And it is not only lightweight, it’s very sturdy, solid, and has features that blew the one I had away...and they both were the same cost. For example, the feet..are a nice size and adjustable for many surfaces.
The carry bag....the competitors was a thin cheap material, whereas this tripod came with a canvas like bag which will put up with a lot of abuse.
I am not a “photographer” so when my brother in law visited who is quite knowledgeable and owns high end equipment, he was impressed with mine. Although his requirements are more in the professional range.
This is a great value and now wonder what other products this maker has! Read full review

Not 'Heavy Duty'...
I bought this because it said it was 'Heavy Duty'. I have to disagree, either it is not designed for a scope at all or my scope exceeds 11 lbs? I know it is heavy, but not 11 lbs. The scope wobbled considerably and couldn't hold a position. As soon as I got it spotted and let go of the handle the spot moved off target. I was adjusting the legs and the scope actually fell off and busted on the ground! Not a good first experience.
I was thrown off by the advertising and comments, it does seem quite strong and well made and probably well suited for lighter and shorter devices. To me, this is not 'Heavy Duty', it is light, sturdy and easy to carry, but not 'Heavy Duty' by a long shot.
Truthfully, I wanted another scope anyways, so I will be testing this Tripod again with the new device when I get it. I guess weight will be one of my buying considerations.Read full review

Very Fragile handle
I can see already the handle used To extend the height of the tube will not last long. Have had it an hour and it has almost broke off trying to raise the tube. So very fragile handle. So if you don’t want the extra 16 inches of height that give you. It is a quality purchase for the price. I have the same brand just the Q666 that’s why I purchased this one. It has a hook for sand bag. 3 different heights,Tip of legs adapt to floor, compatible with my Panasonicbmini video camera and my nikon coolpix l840. I attached a cellphone holder from a selfi stick and it works great. Comeswoth a carrying bag too.

First off this a good price and has good features. It's light weight for carry. I got it for a spotting scope but it makes barely touching the scope very hard to keep steady otherwise great.

It’s okay for the money
The tripod is easy to use, it’s functions are simple but works as intended, this isn’t your mid end to high end tripod where smoothness is required or a needed thing. The panning up and down is really stiff, takes some muscle to move it but once moving it moves okay. The panning left and right is smooth enough for a nice pan and can be adjusted with the knob on the left. The legs stretches out firmly and securely. The only con to this is that when you stretch out the mid section with the cranking stick and crank up the neck of the tripod, you must lock it in with the locking knob next to the tripod neck otherwise your camera etc will come crashing down. Otherwise you get what you paid for but works as intended, and the tripod folds small and light enough to work as a travel tripod as well. Remember this is t your high end tripod so don’t expect anything fancy.Read full review
