Bought a couple of these a year ago, for myself and as a gift, have now bought 2 more as gifts. Very easy to use, puts a serious edge on your knives. I've tried many other sharpeners in the past, from traditional steels to electric or pull through versions, binned the lot now I have this! Out of all the knife sharpeners I've tried over the years this has to be hands down the best that I've ever had. With just a few strokes through the sharpening blades and a dull knife will be as sharp as the day it was bought (if not sharper). At last a sharpener which is really affective. I’ve suckered it onto the splash back behind my cooker and if I need a quick sharpen while working at the worktop, just reach over, three strokes and I’m ready to carry on preparing.
