devolo dLAN 500 Powerline Adapter Add-on Extender - White

Don't consider buying any other brand this is THE range extender to get.

Ever heard the saying: "buy cheap buy twice"? This isn't the cheap and it knocks the competition into the weeds. Knowing what I know now I would never buy a cheaper brand of range extender. This is to range extenders what Miele is to washing machines.

I have tried two other makes and they both "dropped out all the time". They were also tricky to set up and this is "plug & play that works". PLUS you can get an app that controls the Devolo network and allows updates. Good product but sometimes fails to connect.

I have two other remote units plus this one but sometimes the main sender unit supply has to be switched off and then back on to enable remote wireless devices to connect even though the main router shows the internet connection is working.Read full review

More modern units may be better but this still does the job.

Although a little out of date, this still does the job. Better to research the product first so you know what you are doing. This item is just the receiver unit, you also need a sender unit. I was adding to my system so it was fairly easy to set up. I use the free Devolo Cockpit software which helps you to see how everything is working and what speeds you are getting.Read full review
