Well worth the money

I bought this chainsaw as it was slightly more expensive than to hire one and I must say it cuts very well .the chain at the beginning slackens a bit so you need to adjust it a few time until it settles in.it is very load and a bit on the heavy side I cut down a 30 inch diameter conifer trunk slowly cutting wedges out all the way round the trunk it did the job.dont forget to put 2 stroke oil in with the petrol and some chainsaw oil in the appropriate compartment.it does come with a small sharpening file but I would buy a better one from Screwfix (£5) it also come with 2 chains with I did swap over to make it easier on such a large size trunks .highly recommend this chain saw.Read full review

Pull starter needs modification, but works well once started.

The pull starter chord detached after two pulls, I stripped the mechanism, modified it and now works well. The fueling system floods easily making starting tricky. Once started it runs and cuts very well. It has paid for itself on its first outing and now each time of use is a bonus. Read full review

Good saw at a cheap price but hard to get started.

Easy to put together, and the first time I used it, it started first time and made short work of some conifers. It does seem a bit heavy on fuel but that is only a small issue.
The next couple of times I used it, it took me forever to get it started, not sure what the problem is, the fuel mixture is as stated at 25-1 but it does get frustrating when it takes half an hour to get it started.
Hopefully I will figure it out.
