Hazard Lights Switch, fits VW

The switch arrived in good time and it worked when I tested it by pushing it into the wiring harness connector. I could not get it fully into position in the dash board facia because it seemed to be about 1mm to thick to go in the slot. I took both old (not working) switch and the new switch apart and put the new innards into the old outer case. The result fitted into the slot and worked well.
