febi 22715 Anti Roll Bar/Stabilizer Bushing/Kit

A good replacement bush, but cheap they are not.

I bought this type of bush to eliminate a persistent clonking in the front suspension area, I have had for more than 2 years. After having checked every other moving part, the only item left was the antiroll bar bushes, though I had put new, cheaper ones in less than a year before. I state that they are not good value because the cheaper ones were not in any way worn and replacing them did not solve the noise problem. I thought if they were the problem, the O/E Bilstein type would be worth the investment. Unfortunately they were not. My advice is buy the cheapest you can find as they are just as good as expensive ones.
Note, my car passed the last 2 mot's with this noise, at different mot centres with no issues found by the testers.
It is obviously not fundamental to the safety of the vehicle.Read full review
