easy pees y swirl flap kit
The studs on my swirl flap bar were worn and it was off don`t` know how long for so put it back on only for it to come off again after taking the car out for a run so had a look around for a repair and seen these brass studs from X8R and having already used this company for a gear linkage repair kit which i was very happy with i thought i would use them again very easy to change over on the bar and good quality and although i have only used the car a couple of times since putting it on all seems good, one Happy Chappy Thanks X8R.Read full review...

A simple, cheap and easy repair. Just beware the O rings.
Let's be clear. These bushes are a brilliant, cheap way of curing the dreaded Swirl Flap problem.
I did have a worrying issue with these bushes though. The O rings are just too thin, such that the bushes would not grip the balls of the swirl flap levers and easily lifted off.
I cured this by using larger O rings.
Supllied O ring: 7.7mm OD, 5.1mm ID.
My O rings: 8.5mm OD, 4.9mm ID.
Not much difference, but enough to securely grip the lever balls. Don't forget, the balls wear too.
The holes for the screws needed to be drilled out to 3mm.Read full review...

The best upgrade out there..dead easy to fit and when applied to the swirl valve plastic bearing they fit like a glove..and no way they are falling off again unless you pull them off yourself!! I'm made up with these fantastic brass upgrade far superior than the shite vauxhall fitted when the car came out of the production line..I recommend all cars with dodgy crap plastic cups should use these, I can't rate these upgrade brass cups highly enough!!!Read full review...

Worked a treat
This was a really fiddly job once had worked out to fit the new brass pieces to the rail (off the car) then align the swirl flaps the rail I suspended over the swirl flaps with a bit of fencing wire using the spare hole in the middle of the rail then just pushed the rail on with a long screwdriver flap by flap ,the rail must be straight so fit the brass fittings to the rail first and sit on a table top to check it's straight before fitting brill product for the money saved loads than taking to a garageRead full review...
