My wife raves about this hoover head addition to her hoover tool bag , we have dog who seems to shred hair all year round , so when she brought herself a new Hoover because the last one gave up the ghost she also ordered this Hoover head to go with it .
I remember them from years back her first one come from a little shop in our old high Street even back then the owner of that shop shop told her of it's failing , that the pad on the underside wears out as it that part that collects the dog/pet hair however back then you used to be able to buy just a replacement pad , we have not searched the internet or eBay for just this part , it does take a long time to wear through and they do work really well .
There was a TV advert years ago for a clothes cleaner , if your in your 50's you might remember it brush this pad one way it took cat or dog hair off a black velvet jacket turn the pad type brush backwards and it cleaned the pad , well the lad on this hoover head reminds me of that TV advert and that pad ! Enough of memory lane

Poor Quality

Did the job for a while but soon broke. Very poor quality build. Head constantly comes off and drives you up the wall. Eventually the head breaks completely and can’t be reattached. The degree of flex on the head was also poor, which made it hard to manoeuvre. When it worked it was great, it’s just a shame about the quality. Effective.

I have found this very effective at picking up short dog hairs from rugs and carpets. You have to ensure that it is firmly connected but it is of course a universal fitting.

As you more it back and forth you will see that it gathers the dog hair into piles, occasionally you then have to lift the tool and place it back over the actual pile in order to vacuum it up.

I saw immediate results even though I already thought the carpets were clean. With 3 large dogs I vacuum every day anyway but this Tool caught nearly all the little hairs that usually get caught in the carpet pile.

My only negative point is that I found the angle a bit uncomfortable. Obviously it has to be kept flat onto the carpet, a bit more adjustment in the angle of the head would have been nice.Read full review

These are a great tool for getting your dog hairs up from carpets. But to be fair they Do need a moderation because where the brush top moves it snaps the plastic then the brush keep coming off when your hoovering. But I haven't found anything better to get dog hairsvup. Read full review

No good for carpets

Its good for getting the dog hairs but the angle of the attatchment isn't very good so you need to really bend down, ideal for stairs/ furniture not so much for floor. also the head came off from the top bit a couple of times and the air adjuster broke off, so now its got tape over the hole! good job the dog only moults twice a year.Read full review
