A worthwhile Strat upgrade.

Well, does what it says on the tin, so to speak. Very easy and quick to fit on my Mexican HSH Strat. They look great, and add to the attractiveness of the guitar, make string-changing much quicker and easier and my strat has stayed in tune since fitting them, even after a bit of walloping on the whammy-bar. Good but don`t fit on a Fender Squire

Good quality tuners. Unfortunatley i have a cheap Fender Squire Strat and tuners did not fit the. 3/8" size.
My fault. So i have had to follow these upgrade Squire videos that are very vague.

Quick and simple to use.

I had bought a new made in USA neck for my 1976 strat. The old machine heads wouldn't fit, so I decided to go for a new set. They are really good, after a lifetime of winding the string around several times, very carefully, I find these locking tuners very quick and simple to use. They were also very easy to fit to the head, using two pins into the pre-drilled holes, and a tightening a nut from the front, no screws required. well worth it

increased the tuning stability of my tremolo equipped strat. keeps in tune much better, particularly if you lubricate string contact points on bridge.
btw the high E string did not sit as well on the nut so it can be pulled out of nut groove easier when you fit this. I adapted my playing vibrato style and adjusted the bridge height to get around it. I may have to get my nut filed out to compensate.Read full review
