Coal Tar Soap

Well, I didn’t know this before I bought the soap but...apparently I am required to offer my opinion of the product in the form of stars - as subjective and ambiguous as that will probably be to the reader of my review. I was looking for Pragmatar ointment when I found the coal tar soaps. I guess Pragmatar ointment is no longer available.

Let me see...the bar soap product is hard-cast not soft so I expect it to last a long time. The soap produces lots of suds and rinses cleanly. It has a very distinctive odor - not “perfumy” but pretty strong. Whatever it is supposed to do for my skin won’t happen in the first few days so I won’t be able to comment about that. If I use the soap and then allow for the healing process, I have full faith and no doubt that it will produce the desired medicinal results over time.

I am satisfied with my purchase.
