A multi- task tool, sturdy and well made

I have long tried to find a tool that can uproot taproots, dig holes to the desired depth and at the same time saw through any smallish roots that are in the way. In the Hori Hori I have found exactly what I was looking for and I can say it is really well made, sturdy yet comfortable and at the end of the gardening day I put it back in its sheath ready for the next time I need it. Leather let down

It's a Hori Hori, does what it says on the tin, metal detectors might like this but I purchased it for a 4th wedding anniversary, she'll use it to grow fruit and flowers in the garden. Looks good for cutting roots and measurement of depth. If she doesn't like it, it will come in handy for digging my grave. The irony isn't wasted on me.

Hori Hori

Good quality but plastic holder too flimsy

Great quality, very strong and light and slices through soil easily. The only downside is the cheap plastic sheath which is beginning to rip at the sides after only a few uses.
