I like the SPs

For me, these are the best strings I've found. I play Bluegrass and I break G's mostly due to the "G-Run". The SPs for me last the longest. I tried another popular brand recently and the G didn't make it though the set. The SPs, for me, last for many sets before breaking or dying. I use them on my '49 D-28, and my '47 Gibson LG-3, they sound great on each one. I haven't found any better.Read full review

I don’t know maybe I’m easy to please. I wasn’t expecting much for $30 but it surpassed my expectations. Looks good to. Only issue I had is that it looked used. It was scuffed up really bad. It does what it’s supposed to do. I’ll tell you right now before you buy it, go ahead and purchase better strings. Even with better strings it takes a few times to get it tuned.Read full review
