Was of Moderate Aid
I purchased this to improve FM reception. After installing an LED light over my work bench my FM radio reception suffered greatly. This antenna was easy to install and helped moderately although didn't completely filter out the noise. It came with everything necessary for installation and appears to be a quality item. Does not help with radio station reception!
This item had poor reveiws of not helping the recetion of radio stations and I found it does not help my stereo pick up radio stations better as well. My tower Terk FM booster works but I the EDGE as it is reported to have a greater gain amplification of about 10db from the terk tower (29 for the edge over 19db gain on the Terk Tower) yet the edge does nothing to help the reception. FM Antenna That Works
I have tried multiple passive and amplified antennas, but live in a rural area that limits reception. In past, I could get 3 stations that were clear on a good day. I hooked this to my FM receiver and can get 12 stations that are very clear and 4 that are acceptable. Finally, something works. Highly recommended.
