this Horny de railer is flimsy and not very easy to set up. instructions not clear enough and it is overpriced.
once it is in place it doesnt always work so i bought a Peco which works very well, easy to fit and half the price of the Hornby.Read full review

Item does work with a lot of playing around with it. You would be better to use the spring loaded type.

Needs a motor to drive it

Doesn't work without a motor to drive it, so not a lot of use on a manual layout. Other than that, it's well made, but has small components and will be fiddly to install.

Rhubarb to bad rubbish!

Instructions non existent, just a picture???I had to remove the ribs on the riser, to allow wagons to run over it, let alone loco's, Had to make it fit on an R601 double straight, and if using R600 straights it is had to get the unit level. the rails needed trimming away for the points motor to fit.Read full review

As I am new to this hobby I am not in a position to comment too much at this time but I do find this product a bit difficult to handle with the small pieces also it keeps on derailing rolling stock even after trimming off, the instructions are not very good for a beginner as I am.Read full review

Very disappointed as I can't get it to operate

After an hour messing around trying to assemble what should be a very simple device I can't get it to stay affixed to the track when using the lever
And it derailed the pony truck of my Ivatt 2 so I have taken it out and will sell all four I purchased
