Great Phone

Unfortunately the Blackberry Z30 is a discontinued phone but everyone who uses it, loves it. The sound quality is good. The Bluetooth pickup is flawless (better than my iPhone). The camera is good and way it stores information is good. No-one is writing apps for Blackberry so the kids wont like it; its a phone for grown-ups. You can use apps from the Amazon store on the Blackberry so its more than adequate. The phone back is easy to remove and its easy to change sim cards and put in memory. Not Worth It!

The Z30 is a piece of rubbish. I have used it extensively and in no way sets a foot near the modern smartphones, especially iPhone and Samsung.
Its battery timing is very low. features are slow. OS is completely outdated and in short its a total waste of time and money.
Now BlackBerry claims that its a business phone and you can send encrypted info from device to server and so on. Do you really want to talk about drug money and so on? Even if you tried to Govt agencies can clearly read your conversation.
Secondly Blackberry claims that its a true business phone. I think its a utter waste of time and my eyes and fingers started to hurt after usage.
Over all the OS is completely impractical and there is nothing BUSINESS about the blackberry.
Its a show off or status symbol to show your friends or colleagues that your one of the worlds smartest stock traders. But truly its a piece of trash.
Build quality is better than Samsung devices and other android devices.
Looks are great.
Blackberry HUB is very useful if it doesn't crash.

An under-rated smartphone that everyone should take a second look at

Just the right size for me. Perhaps not the highest spec on paper, but in actual use does everything I need and does it well. Multi-tasking is excellent and very easy to manage.
Now that you can download and run Android apps from the Amazon App store, you get the best of Blackberry and Android - am using Orange Squeeze and Squeeze Player to control and play music on my Logitech Media Server.
Battery life - get 48 hours from full charge and low to moderate use - email, reading the news online, watching a movie and listening to about an hour of music.
Bluetooth audio streaming works well.
OK - it may be a year and a half old now, but still holds its own against newer offerings from other manufacturers. If you can get one for just over £200 as I did, it is a great buy.Read full review...
