Well Pleased

Had one for many many years that got much abuse but still managed to survive, finally it gave up & fell apart. Very glad to see, after all these years, Draper kept the same good design. Fantastic versatile rake that I'm sure will last for many years to come.Read full review

Sturdy, but lightweight and flexible, opening wide to maximise efficiency. Good value too.

Despite shipping problems, this rake has made dealing with our garden's millions of fallen leaves much easier than previous years. Using this lightweight 2ft wide rake, with flexible tines rather than my old 1ft rigid rake, makes a huge difference - even if still an almost daily chore.
I will be using the narrow rake setting in flower beds in spring.
It seems good quality, and built to last - but time will tell.
I looked at similar adjustable garden rakes, but found them all to claim max 2ft width, but in reality only achieved 1.5ft or less; did not appear as sturdy as the Draper; and were more expensive too.
So I am well pleased.

Good quality and should last..

Strong metal construction, with a small lever to adjust the spacing between the rakes fingers, depending on the size of leaves.

Top Quality Product

While this product was marginally more expensive than the competition the all metal construction give a good solid and robust tool which I anticipate will give years of good service.
Due to the all steel construction the item is a little on the heavy side compared with the other versions that I have handled that have plastic parts and a more flimsy feel. Ladies may not appreciate the extra weight but it should not trouble a male user.
In my view Draper have missed a trick by not fitting an aluminium handle to reduce the weight but this is a very minor criticism.

Robust and good quality.

Seems to be well made and robust for this type of rake. It is a heavier gauge than some of the others and should last a while.
