Give a smooth and clean cut in soft and hard woods.

This saw blade give a smooth and well cleared cut. I have used it on both soft and hardwoods at several speeds with equal results. It is most gratifying to find a supplier of this unusual 32mm 250mm blade size suitable for Shopsmith and other such US based tools.Read full review

Useless.

Bought this to ripsaw hardwood. As a 24-tooth TCT, it should do this. Compared to the Freud 24-tooth TCT, it is hopeless. Might be fine on softwoods but if you're after something to cut hardwood, spend another £20 and get the Freud.
I tried it for a second time a few months later when the Freud went blunt. All I needed was to straighten an edge on some hardwood. Even blunt, the Freud would cut straight, but progress was slow. I popped this back in thinking that as it was literally a thin slice I was taking off, it would manage.
Nope. Blade wandered almost instantly, meaning the blade simply wasn't sharp enough to maintain a straight cut.
Softwoods? Fine. Hardwood? Waste of a tenner.Read full review

Thin steel

The saw was a light gauge steel, (thickness of blade) which could only stand up to light work.It did not have any expansion gapping in the blade(These are the cuts you see,some have 4 or more of them) they stop the heat caused by friction travelling through the blade toward the centre.When this happens you get a wobble in the blade as the blade as it heats up,esp when cutting hardwood.
