A Good magnifying glass
This item is easy to use it sit's comfortably around the neck and is adjustable on the cords, the stand is also very good, but I have found it can topple over if you push against the main body whilst using it, but overall it is a good item and does exactly what I need it to do even with my glasses on, so I am very pleased with it. The two led lamps in it are quite bright and ideal for reading with. I've used mine for tying fishing knot's and used a free standing led bedside light to illuminate the work area. Read full review

Cheap plastic rubbish
You get what you pay for with this product. I should not have allowed myself to be persuaded by all the good reviews. I will be surprised if it lasts a week. There are no instructions. The legs are difficult to open & close, and when closed block most of the light. The legs are unstable when open & do not rest on your knee effectively. When placed on a table the magnifying area is too high to look down on effectively. The neck string is thin and elastic offering no stability when round your neck. The magnifying plastic is distorted except for an approximate area of 2inchs square so is not helpful for reading a letter or a book. The battery compartment cover is fiddly & poor quality. Basically, it's not fit for purpose, but then for the price including postage, what can you expect 🤷Read full review

Very useful and lightweight.
Great item. Very useful for many things. Good lighting. Lightweight. Highly recommended.
Only downside would be, that it's a bit difficult to get it open to put batteries in. An elderly, or less nimble fingered person, may have trouble opening it. I found this out, as it was an elderly lady that I bought this for and she struggled to open it.. Otherwise, a great, useful item.Read full review

Fantastic product.
This is great. I do a lot of close work and it has helped me to work better on dark colours. The inbuilt light helps a lot to see what I am doing. Even better is that it rests nicely on the chest. My sister also loved it and wanted one so I’m buying it for her birthday. I would recommend this to anyone.Read full review

Fine, large, 'page at a time' magnifying glass.
Fine, large magnifying glass, with good LED light, making it easy to read a paper-back, spread out underneath. My only criticism is that the legs are a bit too flimsy, and look as if they might break easily.Read full review

Quite happy with this
I did replace the included but too narrow slightly elasticated neck cord with a wider stable one and I am very careful when folding the stand legs in/out but I am happy to recommend this to anyone in need of a large magnifying instrument as long as they understand it is somewhat fragile and will need to be handled with care. I use it for embroidery and other fiddly hand-crafting as the legs give it enough height to get my hands under without knocking it about. I also find it quite helpful reading 'the fine print' on documents including instruction manuals and sheets. The magnification is clear - no blurring and no need to move it around to get a clear magnification of whatever I'm working on, it is so nice to see everything in one go. When I'm finished with it for the day I store it in a padded (grip-tape flap closure) bag I sewed for it from my scraps stash.Read full review

Easy to Use
Bought this for my elderly father and he is delighted. It's lightweight and easy to use. The fact that it goes round your neck and can be used hands free is excellent.

Good, prompt service
Clear view through the glass, light weight to wear around your neck. Does the job. Haven't tried it with batteries in yet. Plastic stand does not open back easily and feels as though it may break if forced back. The first item was damaged but was very quickly replaced (less than a week)Read full review

Cheap and cheerful?
Plastic frame and magnifier so a bit flimsy however it does what its supposed to do!
Battery cover is a bit tricky to get off so if your giving to someone with eye issues/arthritic, put them in first.
Good for a trial before buying an expensive one and use as a spare thereafter.Read full review

Okay as a magnifier without the lights
Although the magnifier is useful for the task I bought it for, I was disappointed with the light. The 4 LEDs do not give an even light, but have a tendency to distort the image. The on/off switch is also a bit dodgy with the result that the light flickers.Read full review

Lightweight, not too heavy around the neck
The little black rubber support on one side broke off after 1/2 an hour. Will have to take off the other side so it will lay flat. For the sake of being slightly bigger it should be a better part.
