I use to use laptop coolers or computer fans to cool my stereo system but it was hard to balance components on top of the laptop cooler, plus it blows dust into my stereo, so I decided there has to be a better way.... I'm glad I found this item.

Item performs very well . It goes very well with my Pioneer component system. It draws air out the back.

Measurements were taken while cranking it up. Temps went from 108 F to 84 F in 10 minutes or so on low. The temperature fluctuated from 82 to 86 degrees while cranking it up in an air conditioned room with temp of 80 and fan speed on low. So this will save me energy by being able to keeping it at, near room temperature on low. It has 3 fan speeds and can be set to stay on or automatically turn off and on at 2 levels, which is convenient.

The sound is quiet with the fan on low. The higher the speed the louder it gets but I could not hear the fan while my music or home theater is cranked up.

The item appears to be well built and looks professional. It goes good with my system. It looks more expensive than what I paid for it here on Ebay. It would make a good gift to fellow enthusiast. I plan to buy another one for my amp.
