AKai A51002 Compact DVD Player With USB Multi Region
This is a good DVD player and just works, even with the DVDs I had previously made myself on a dvd recorder (Note this device does not record) Picture and sound is very good. My only criticism is that the drive is a little noisy, however My room is very small so the device is only a couple of meters away from me in use. When a film is playing though I can't really here the drive at all so its not really a problem. I would say this is a very good device for the money, You will not be disappointed with picture quality, or sound quality or ease of use just be aware it needs connecting through a SCART socket, for me this was not a problem. Compact, easy to use multi region DVD player. Has good picture and sound quality. The remote control has lots of features but is set out well and clearly marked. There is no need to manually set the region you require, although there is the option, as the machine scans the disc and automatically sorts it for you. I tried the rest and find this the best...............
This is my second one, the first still works but age has caught up and sometimes it skips, for the price and guarantee having had other makes in the past this one is outstanding for picture quality, the menu is easy to use, for instance if you want to switch of but come back later to pick up the film were you left of is a simple task. I like the neatness and size its compact and bijou fits nicely with my own set up.
