MIN and MAX indications are other way around and at some point towards high ND value appears visible dark stripe through the middle of the filter, although this problem appears only in relatively small ND range and can be avoided by not using these values. Bought this product at a very resonable price- it works in the same fashion as a circular polarzing filter seen as attachements to many Cameras. It allows you to focus the lens then gentley turn the outer lens and grandually increase the ND - not a perfect result every time -there was some 'banding' issues but slowly moving the outer lens -very slowly - will give good results for those milky white running water effects- try and shoot away from the sun as any spec of dust on the filter or Camera lens will be magnified I shot both in Colour and B/W at F22 & 30 seconds and less and was very excited with the results - it is good practise I think to use this low cost productleran the tech then if you want to take your photograpy further you can go and buy a more expensive Filter kitRead full review

My exemplar have a rainbow stain near the frame.
Marking (Min - - - Max) does not match, it is with a BIG shift. So I had to make a new marking to see where extreme values is.
