Using the fryer

The machine is very easy to operate and quick to reach the required temperature. The only thing to watch is that when you remove the lid to check the contents you have to be careful to avoid the condensation that it releases. I would however point out that this is a problem that exists in all fryers of this type and in no way detracts from the efficiency of what is an excellent machine which gives good value for money.Read full review

Awkwardly designed cover

Makes great chips (only thing I've tried so far) and plenty for family of five. The basket is easy to use and fries the food evenly. The only design flaw seems to be the lid/cover which just lifts completely off and has to be placed somewhere while checking the food. Not great when it's wet with condensation and greasy. A hinged lid would possibly be better. Otherwise great value for money.Read full review

Great to have it in the kitchen for a short time...

Fast heating, helps you save oil and less smoke in your kitchen, easy to clean as everything comes apart very easy, very versatile so I would recommend for the time is at essence and want to cook fast and efficient.

Wanted a Fryer that was not too big, easy to clean, and most of all a basket large enough so that I could cook battered fish in.. also the price had to be right, I was not prepared to pay the earth. This fryer ticked all the boxes, I wish I had bought it ages ago! The first time I used it the fish came out perfect.. and the after cleaning was so simple.. the whole unit lifts out leaving the oil tank that also lifts out and once drained of the oil can be put in the dishwasher or hand washed.. filters are easy to get at and they can have a quick dip to keep fresh.. there is nothing I can complain about.. this little beauty has saved us pounds on fish and chip night!Read full review

3 Litre Deep Fat Fryer was great and lasted for one year, then it fused out all my trip switches! Nothing more than a faulty Thermostat, but got me scared so much that I Binned it! Easy enough to buy another one from Asda's. Great Cooked Chips and other fishy frizes but the smell of cooking fat filled my Flat beyond any welcome! Much easier to Pan Fry Soetaded Potatoes along with Mushrooms and Herbs. Downside of any of these Deep Fat/Oil Fryers is: Drips and condensation falling off item.
