Absolutely dire performance and a total waste of money.
The software is terrible. Downloading and sorting stations is a nightmare. This item was only capable of receiving a total of 105 stations, both radio and tv. I have a 12 year old Tevion tv dongle which receives almost 200 - and that's using the same 2 PC's and the same antenna.Read full review

After a little initial difficulty, where the install instructions advised not to use the CD provoded but to download drivers from a website, the receiver worked well. All Freeview channels are available, together with a Record function. NOTE. I used an external aerial connection rather than the the one provided with the receiver.
I was surprised to find that additional features existed, such as downloading photos from camera/phone devices.

Handy little device
It seems slightly complicated. Also the aerial is not very sensitive, but this didn't matter as I have connected it to my roof aerial. Signal was fine then.

With this small thing there is no need to buy portable hd dvb t2 tv.
For more channels one can buy another powerful aerial to boost the signals.
Overall this is not a disappointing small gadget to get local freeview tv stations.

Worth the money
This is the cheapest usb tv i have ever brought and i didn't have much expectations, but to my surprise it turned out to be as good as the much more expensive ones i have purchased in the past.

Buggy software
Can watch TV, CAN'T record.
EGP rubbish, does not display programs and manual record keeps displaying 'these symbols not allowed' when they are not being used - thus not allowing to record.

Good for the money, very small.
The only thing I should add is that the Total Media key appears to have an expiry date & August (the maker) appear to send you old passkeys that don´t work so you end up having to buy another!
