Bought during Lockdown
I bought this during Lockdown.
I had had enough of not being able to get a haircut for 2.5 months so ummed and aghrrred before eventually taking the plunge.
I was a little anxious to use it at first but tbh it is a very simple and clever tool and very easy to use.
You basically set the depth of cut and then shave away, running it backwards and forwards. I set the cut to 7mm all over but you can obviously differentiate the cut for different areas of the hair depending on your desired style.
Cleaning is also simple as is charging.
Really pleased I took the plunge as I doubt I’ll ever go back to a barbers!

A good replacement for an earlier BaByliss trimmer
Buying this was a necessity as an older much used trimmer was broken after being dropped. The nice thing about this one is that it comes as a comprehensive kit within a sensible carrying case including the charger. The adjustable cutting length is ideal for my purposes. It is rather chunky compared to my previous trimmer but something I will soon get used to.Read full review

A close shave
The shaver is well made and selection of hair/beard length is achieved by twisting the central section. It is heavier than my previous shaver but not excessively so. The selector goes in 1mm increments from 1 to 25mm. I did find that hair does gather in the blade guide which needs to be removed in order to fully clean the hair away. The included battery operated trimmer is a bit superfluous for me.
