This toilet seat is brilliant. It is extremely well made and good value. The sta-tite feature means even over time it doesn't loosen. The fittings are also created so that it is virtually impossible to over tighten the nuts which is a great idea for anyone who tends to be a bit heavy handed or unsure; saves them from cracking the toilet pan!Read full review

High quality, solid toilet seat
I was worried that this might be one of those seats which are hollow underneath but it isn't. This is very solid. It's so comfortable I'm going to buy another.
It does close softly and was easy to fit quickly with the minimum fuss. It also stays up safely for standing up use!

Solid and excellently-designed seat
We've used Bemis Silentium seats in our current and last house. They are properly designed and solidly built. The STA-TITE fasteners ensure the seat stays put. We've had a similar product from another manufacturer, but those have broken, do not close silently or do not stay put.
