Betron KBS08 Portable Bluetooth Travel Speaker - Black

Good gizmo.

This is the second Betron speaker I have purchased. This comes in as a slight second to my previous version which was the round type. In my opinion this one does not quite match the depth of sound of the first, and the volume is not as powerful either.
But it is still a good value product at a great price, being well made, attractive in appearance, and with the novelty feature of flashing lights and changing colours whilst playing.

Not great

Lot of distortion from the sound , and it is not very loud when compared to a similar model I had from a different company which was actually cheaper than this one

Stunning sound from a fantastic speaker

This Betron speaker is outstanding. I read all the reviews before purchase and still was a little sceptical of some of the comments staing jow brilliant this speaker is.
Well believe me, this Betron speaker is Amazing. It is small compact and so very well made, it has quality written all over it. It is heavy and feels solid in your hand. The control buttons are plainly marked and simple to use. Very easy to connect by Bluetooth and can be up and playing in minutes. The sound quality is second to none with no distortion even on full, full been very loud, you won't believe the sound is coming from something so small. It has a nice light ring around the top speaker and around the base which dance along to the tunes you are playing. This feature can also be turned off . The price for this outstanding piece of kit is giveaway. Absolutely unbelievable speaker for a Fantastic price. If you are reading this as confirmation to purchase One. Read no more and buy one. Portable sound

The Betron speaker is compact with lots built into this device- you can switch from blue-tooth to micro card to suit. The sound quality is very good and all bound together with integrated colour lighting.
A great device if you are on the move, or working in a 'man-cave', work shed, greenhouse, etc.

Brilliant speaker!

My wife got one of these bought for her one birthday, and i love it that much i bought my self one, you can use your own sd card to listen to your own music.The changing multi coloured led lights are ace, the bass is absolutely amazing for its size and price definitely would recommend this speaker over any other!.Read full review

compact, travel friendly, good value for money

Really happy with the speakers, the sound changes depending on the surface its placed on. Good for travel I put mine in my hand luggage and it was very light to carry around. Be careful on the choice of surface as the bass can cause the speaker to move, unfortunately mine vibrated off a shelf and fell directly on to my phone screen which cracked!!! despite this I have recommended the speaker to friends. just wish you could turn off the flashing lights! great colour I went for the gun metal looks more expensive than what I paid! great little product.Read full review

Little Heavyweight

This device is small but quite heavy which I suspect is what accounts for the good quality of the sound it produces. The same cannot be said of the sound it produces when the Mode button is pressed. The words are unclear as they are spoken by a women whose first language is not English. The device has a light show routine that operates while it is playing. This is not to my taste and I am hoping to find out how to switch it off. It lights up with a steady red light when charging which is sensible. It ought to have a light colour associated with each of the Modes rather than a voice prompt. The sound from the 3.5mm jack lead was good, but the same files from my phone played via Bluetooth seemed to be both louder and sharper. The text and symbols for the controls are very small which is hard for those of us with poor vision. There is space for larger characters. We have not yet had time to assess the battery life, but I am feeling very positive about the little speaker.Read full review

wasnt expecting much from this for the price but its actualy pretty darn amazing, sound quality is mint and so is the build quality, it gives out plenty of base and valume too, we took it camping for a long weekend and it was great, took up no space yet we could listen to our tunes via bluetooth. deffo recommend it and would deffo buy another.Read full review

Sound quality is good (slightly bass). Many bluetooth devices make an awful garbled noise if they lose signal this just goes silent. An LED volume level would however be useful.

Connected from my iPhone straight away without any issues. Works great and sound quality is decent for such a small size speaker. Even has radio if you plug in your headphones!
