The title doesn't refer to the story, but to the title song. It's a delicious red herring. It adds to the fil's mystery.
I liked the film when I first saw it. It's populated by odd characters and is quite disturbing in places. As I'm older and wiser now, seeing the film again, I might understand it better and new things about it may come to light. Also, I've always wanted it.Read full review

Blue Velvet Blu Ray
The sound is good but disappointingly the picture quality is not great.
The Netflix version that came online a few months ago has better image quality.
I was hoping to see this amazing movie one of my favourite films looking better than ever but realistically it’s really not much better than the old DVD.
The extras are nice.
Paid £5 for a new copy. That’s probably the reason it’s so cheap.
My advice watch it on Netflix or stick with the DVD as it’s not great unless you want the extras.
