Good stuff, recommended.
It's good quality if you're only going to be doing a few minor repairs. I used it to fix an acrylic turntable lid that had smashed in transit, reconnecting a broken section where the hinge connected. This is the place that takes the most strain, obviously, and the lid was able to be used again after leaving it to cure for about a day. It shows no signs of failing after a month of use.
If you need to do this sort of thing regularly then get a big bottle because it'll be way more economic, but if you have modest needs such as a repair now and then or a bit of modelling, well, a little goes a very long way and this is a good choice.Read full review

Tensol 12 no good for exterior use
After I purchased this I found out it is for interior use.I now find the product for exterior use is only available in large amounts, this is no use for a small job, will try superglue instead.

Good stuff
I bought this to glue together some self assembly acrylic display boxes. It works very well, though the cure time is very long and it could use a finer application nozzle, it also smells very strong, so good ventilation and a filter mask is required.Read full review

Excellent product for welding close fitting acrylic joints
I had some laser cut boxes that I needed to 'glue' together so I researched the best materials to use on acrylic. Tensol 12 is not something I knew about but it was recommended as a good way of welding the acrylic together.
Tensol 12 is almost water thin so is easy to apply to VERY CLOSE FITTING parts. Capillary action draws it in to the joint. My first attempt was a bit clumsy but the plastic syringe made application straightforward.
The joint is firm within an hour (at 20C) and excess Tensol 12 evaporates but does mark the surface so better to apply to the inside or less visible side.
I intend making quite a few more enclosures for projects using a laser cutter in our MakerSpace so will use this method to assemble the parts. So far (still early days) the joints do seem to be strong. Overall a better way to make project boxes than 3D printing.
Tensol 12 has no filling capability so would not be suitable for joints that have large gaps or where the finish is rough. In those situations something with body like an epoxy might be better.Read full review

Greeat glue but bad syringe
Very useful for small projects with acrylic. Lots of glue left over.
Despite this, there is a small problem with the syringe as it degrades after two uses so maybe purchase some spare syringes as well.
Other than that, familiarise yourself with using it by reading the included links.Read full review

Solvent weld for perspex / acrylic
Works very well but be careful you don’t let it spill onto any visual areas. Have tried other types of glue but this does successfully ‘weld’ the acrylic parts together. Have used to join sheet edges and acrylic hinges.Read full review

Welding solvent for Acrylic
Always been a great product, but the new syringe and nozzle make accurate placement easy, while the metal container stops evaporation. I'd recommend keeping it in the fridge too.

Cements perspex but syringe maybe not best method
Good:
- Tensol 12 is a well known professional 'solvent weld' for perspex
- It produces a strong transparent 'weld'
Not so good:
- The inclusion of a syringe with plastic 'hypodermic needles' is handy, but the problem with using a syringe is that pressure needs to be applied to the syringe to dispense it, but that pressure cannot be reversed when enough has been dispensed, meaning that it is almost impossible not to overdispense and end up with small pools of adhesive. The other common technique, using a small flexible bottle under negative pressure is probably better for dispensing.
- Since it hardens quite quickly, cleaning up the dispensing tool(s) after use is a major problem. For large amounts dispensed it is maybe not an issue, but for small amounts, used repeatedly it is the major problem.
- difficult to know how to dispose of unused remainder. There are no instructions for that.Read full review

Acrylic glue
This is a well known product from a reputable company, but great care must be observed in it's use, instructions must be carried out to the letter
The product makes an excellent joint and is clean, but always use in well ventilated areas.Read full review

Worked well to mend acrylic perspex table
Worked for me, glued back together my 20ml thick perspex table. Dried clear, used a thick layer, as first time used sparingly & came apart after drying. But now solid and stuck. Very pleased, fast del and well packaged. Thank you!Read full review
