Good performance and sound quality for a radio of it's size

Good performance and sound quality for it's size. Very pleased with it. Although a graded product mine has no marks on it except for a scratch on the back panel which is out of site and one of the 4 small self adhesive feet are missing which is very easy to rectify. Looks like new.

Came well packed with original instruction booklet and mains adaptor.

I won't be buying another one of these, from anyone!

I've been using this Bush radio for just over two years, just in my bedroom, so early in the morning and late at night only. Up until a week ago it was OK, but not brilliant. The sound quality isn't as good as my Pure radio and it doesn't have the same volume either. Nor are the controls as good.
Last week, it suddenly stopped working. There's a problem with the power lead where it enters the back of the radio. Now, it will only work if you hold the lead into the back of the radio at precisely the right angle, otherwise it just dies. Needless to say, this is no good! I unscrewed the back of the radio to see if there was any obvious loose connection within, but there wasn't.
I also compared the lead and connection with my Pure radio and realised that the Bush lead is far inferior.

Great value & good sound quality.

Bought to replace a dead radio in the kitchen. Wasn't looking for hi-fi quality since it's really for background use. It is more than adequate : sound quality is good, better than some I've heard, and volume more than adequate. I like the way it displays the time and date when switched off (standby mode). Sensitivity on DAB and FM is good. Only thing I don't like is there are only 2 preset buttons so you need to select the saved channel before entering. No problem but I'd have preferred a radio with a button per saved channel.

Smart modern wooden look

Bought this DAB radio receiver/Bluetooth speaker instead of a stand alone Bluetooth Speaker.
Downside is that the base response is poor, should have gone for a standalone speaker I suppose. However DABs signal is good but instructions are weak on how to store stations, not for the weak of heart! Volume on Bluetooth is relatively low and tone control is lacking next to the volume. Overall a good small radio receiver, but don't expect top sounds or ease of control.Read full review

Bad structural design

The product did not work. It was evident that the aerial was broken where it connected to the inner circuit board. I had to open the case, and found a totally inadequate design of mounting. I repaired with many layers of hot glue and fibreglass tape. I also found it difficult to get the radio to operate, but this may be because it takes several seconds for the radio to respond to being switched on.

I wish the digital display was larger so it is possible to read the time at a distance.Read full review
