As it should, this book contains an introduction to French culture. which is very different from English culture. Of course focused on words and phrases, but with studious use allows the reader entry to latinate thinking! Not a phrase book to get you through a short holiday, a tome, heavy in all senses, to help bridge the Channel.Read full review
