Cost Wise Bar Oscillating Sprinkler - Black (SPRCOS)

Fair at the price.

I bought this to replace a branded on I'd had for about 15 years or so. I doubt this will last as long, but it was only half the price and so I will review it based on that. It's very lightweight and the plastic feels brittle. That said, it works and gives a decent spray pattern. It moves more slowly than my old one but I can't think of any reasons why that should be good or bad in comparison. For the money it does what it says on the tin. I just wish the main body felt more like it could take a knock. Personally I will probably buy a better quality one next time. But for the £11 I paid, I don't feel like I have been ripped off. Does not live up to the hype

Brought this as a replacement for my defunkt hoselock oscillator. The reviews are not an accurate or acceptable reflection of the water coverage. It is well made, albeit light, has good water diameter output but does not in any way cover the area stated. We have very high water pressure and this does not cover more than 60% of the area of my old hoselock.
This will be passed on as a gift to my mother in law who has a small lawn and needs an oscillator.

Oscillating bar sprinkler

Arrived earlier than expected. Simple but great bar sprinkler. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Bought this to replace a more expensive type which wouldn't oscillate when joining two hoses together for a long lawn. Why buy an expensive one when this does a brilliant job. A high rate of water flow combined with great coverage means the lawn takes half the time it used too.

Yes, the throw/area it covers in a single sweep does depend on your water pressure but that’s not down to the product. I live in an area with low to medium pressure and am also on a shared supply but have no problem with this sprinkler.

Simple, good value and effective watering.

This bit of kit is excellent in irrigating a garden and much cheaper than the premium brand versions. I replaced a Hozelock similar device with this item and not only was it lower in plastic content it was also more effective with a finer spray over a wider area. The width of coverage control works well and the oscillations are smooth and quiet. The 336 sq metre coverage advertised is rather high I think. I guess it depends upon your water pressure. If you said 100 sq metres with your mains pressure at 3 bar then that is readily achievable.

Given the choice between a new Hozelock and this item, I would choose this item purely on performance. The fact that it comes at a third of the price is a real bonus.Read full review

So far so good ...

After our ages lawn queen died I carried out extensive web research for a replacement.

A modern equivalent of our dead sprinkler was available as well as a plethora of others at prices ranging from about £10-£45.

Watching the videos and reading many reviews this product appeared to be really good value for money with controllable spray pattern and reasonably well made.

Only time will tell whether this product is robust and outlives our previous lawn queen, it doesn’t feel as solidly built, controlling the spray pattern is really easy and appears accurate.

Increasing water flow from tap produces a really high spray that falls over a large area if required.

I watered our 530 sq mtr garden last night and only had to move the unit 4 times altering the spray pattern significantly for 3 of the positions.

Highly recommended on first use, time will tell if this is a real winner!Read full review
